(GBIC allows for the interconnection of multiple switches over longer distances without loss of speed.) Plus, this change provides two dozen distinct protocols for great flexibility in your own operations.
The Procurve 2626 places through 6.6 million packets per second, with a total switching capacity of 9.6 Gbps. It has 8MB of flash-ram and 32 MB of SDRAM, and has an 8,000 entrance MAC table, allowing up to 8,000 addressable devices in your system. It includes rack mount hardware and is just one standard unit tall.
